In November 1999 Frédéric Trinel and Jérôme Ternynck, both experienced recruitment specialists having developed their own international businesses, founded MrTed Ltd, as one of the first provider of Talent Management Solution.

In March 2000, MrTed signed a strategic partnership agreement with Accenture. Accenture provided management support and also collaborated with MrTed’s engineering teams on the HR applications product design and development.

By November 2000 the company had assembled a highly experienced team of international managers and recruitment experts, and was starting expanding its business operations throughout Europe.

MrTedTalentLinkTM, the company’s flagship recruitment solution, was successfully launched in September 2000 to companies in the UK and the Netherlands, its European growth continued throughout 2000.

2001 was a year of consolidation and growth management. The company matured and developed the MrTedTalentLink™ recruitment software with three further releases. MrTed’s acquisition of global clients from Fortune 500 companies made its industry awareness grow as the first Talent Management Solution provider in the market able to deliver a truly global online recruitment solution.

In September 2001 MrTed received 10 million in funding from BV Capital and Holland Venture.
In September 2002 - MrTed signed another 4 million in an internal funding round from lead investor Holland Venture together with BV Capital and existing investors.
This new investment brought the total funding figure received by MrTed since its inception in late 1999 to 29 million.

In 2002, MrTed’s revenues rose 83% from 2001. The company also upgraded to a new hosting center to serve ever-increasing usage volumes and opened a new R&D and customer support facility in Krakow, Poland.
In 2003, MrTed reached profitability, and had a revenue raise of 30%, coming both from the development of existing subsriptions and the acquision of new customers for its leading Talent Management Solution.
Still promoting the Software as a Service model, MrTed continued to deliver the best online recruitment applications during 2004, where it’s revenue again rose by 30%, while its operating profitability reached 1 Million Dollars.
